Municipal Museum of San Francesco

The museum complex is located in the church and convent of San Francesco. A monumental cloister gives access to the church, where traces of frescoes dating back to the fourteenth-sixteenth century are preserved. 

The Art Gallery houses, among the most prestigious works, the XIII century wooden group representing the Depositionand the Gonfalonedi Bartolomeo Caporali raffigurante la Madonna della Misericordia. A recent multimedia exhibition allows a suggestive tour inside the Church of San Francesco, to discover the masterpieces kept inside and the thousand-year history of the Umbrian village.
